Yes people welcome to Dub Attack!
We are a friendly bunch of like minded folk that want to spread our love of dubwise sound system vibes.
Formed in 2023, Dub Attack are a West Yorkshire based collective of long serving dub/roots producers, DJ’s and sound systems who have come together and collaborated to promote Dub music and all it's roots and branches, bringing people together to dance, socialise and reflect on the music…..
We aim to provide a positive, inclusive space for people to enjoy dub and roots music in the way we believe it should be enjoyed, on a clear, powerful soundsystem.
Dub Attack is run by a few local crews that have come together to pool our skills and resources, Inspirational Sound outta Bradford and Leeds crews High Pressure, Balki and Good Vibes, All Tribes. Check the Bio below for more links to our dub family's individual projects.
As a collective we believe that Dub & Roots music is a positive, conscious antidote to the constant bombardment of negative information that we often experience in today’s society….
At our events at the Mill Bradford we will be deploying 6 scoops of custom built dub boxes straight from High Pressure Sound System and bringing some of the best dub and reggae producers and acts out there, alongside our resident family of tuff selectas and local heads.
The only good system is a soundsystem…..
Dub Attack Family
Inspirational Sound
Bradford's Dub Defenders have been running sound system sessions for over 20 years and have played alongside many of the greats. Alongside this they run heir own production studio and record label with some serious releases.
Their live show is a mix of killer reggae and dub rarities and their own serious dubplate specials with the excellent Dan-I on mic duties.
Balki
Leeds based Balki has been musically obsessed since a young age, founder of Beat Inspection and long time dub selector he's shared a stage with some of the biggest acts out there.
Good Vibes, All Tribes
Having come from short stack Hi-Fi Rich brings years of experience in sound systems and event promotion plus carries a serious bag of dubs with him. Good Vibes, All Tribes is his new sound system project and we are very happy he's also par of the Dub Attack family!
High Pressure Sound System
Leeds Dub sound system crew for 20 years have played more dances, raves, free parties and festivals than they can remember!
They are bringing their finely tuned, custom built high power sound system along with their selection of dubplates and riddims and the excellent Dane'Jah on the mic for high energy dub wise vibes.
